Holy Hearts

The heart is the deepest part of who we are, constituting our very personhood. It is where the decision making of our will; the cognitive activity of our mind; and the animating force of our spirit all converge to make each of us who we are as people. There is not a single part of our outward life that does not first find its expression in our heart. If we want to become holy, paradoxically we must stop focusing our effort on trying to make ourselves holy. What we need is heart surgery, and God is the only capable surgeon. Read more here
