The only news that gives freedom

What image says freedom for you? Freedom is the heart of the letter to the Galatians, & Paul is clear that real freedom is found only in the message of Jesus Christ: ‘Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever.’ (Gal 1:3-5).  But not only is true freedom found in the ‘rescue’ of Christ – but it is only found there.  Just as it was costly to free us, we must be committed to ensuring no one is enslaved by being taken by a false gospel.
