In a world where science is considered to be the preeminent and most trustworthy source of knowledge, have you ever been challenged by whether one can hold together a scientific worldview along with one that includes belief in a supernatural reality?
On Monday 4th August at Kirribilli & Thursday 7th August at Macquarie Park, we’ll be running a ‘God & Science’ seminar aimed at believers, seekers and skeptics, to explore the evidence from physics, cosmology, and biology that sheds light on questions such as “Does God exist?” and “Why is there something rather than nothing?”
The presenter will be Dr David Whalley who is a Cardiologist with a research and clinical practice focussing on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. He also has a PhD in cell membrane biophysics. His longstanding interest outside of his medical practice is in exploring the interface between science and faith in God (as well as exploring remote and high places). David and his wife Ali are regular members of the 7pm gathering of The Bridge Church at Kirribilli.
