Rarely do we find time in life to have conversations about the things that really matter. This Spring, we’re going to make time on 3 Sundays in church and 2 Wednesday evenings to discuss some big questions of life. We’re seeking to tackle some of the issues that seem to be most prevalent in everyday conversations – the issues of gender, suffering and religion.
Sunday Gatherings
The 3 questions we’ll be looking at this year in our Sunday Gatherings: are:
#Does Christianity denigrate women?
#Where is God in my pain?
#Haven’t we outgrown ‘religion’?
Wednesday Discussion Evenings
In addition to our Sunday Gatherings, we’re holding 2 Wednesday discussion evenings, 7.45pm at Kirribilli, for honest, open conversations, where everyone’s opinion is welcome, as follows:
#Wednesday 13th September – Where is God in my pain?
#Wednesday 20th September, – Haven’t we outgrown ‘religion’?
We would love you to join us and share what you think about these questions in our open conversation nights, and if you enjoy the conversation we invite you to come along on Sundays to hear what the Bible has to say on these topics.
Our discussion evenings will be relaxed and easy, so come along and bring your friends, we’re really looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say!
