Promises, plans and purposes

Do you believe the goodness of God’s word? One sure way to tell is by looking at what impact His promises have had on your plans and priorities. In Zechariah 6, God’s Word comes again to His people, containing a promise of a great priest-king to re-build His temple. For those who heard the promise, it was also a chance to re-shape priorities and join the work of building. Even today, when Christ the ‘temple-builder’ has come, if we believe the word of God, has it shaped our ‘building’ priorities?
