Who are your good friends? Who are you a good friend to?
In John 15, Jesus offers his disciples friendship. But only in reflecting on friendship – seeing it as ‘an attraction nurtured by mutual exchange & common passion’ – can we appreciate exactly what Jesus is offering. In seeing this great offer, we can also learn what it means to ourselves be better friends.
